I’m so Cheap That
Actually, I do not consider myself cheap, but rather thrifty. I’m not sure others view my approach to spending as that.
I’m so cheap that I only buy bananas on Wednesdays for $.19 per lb.
I’m so cheap that I seldom buy anything from three supermarkets in town unless the item is on sale at a very good price.
I’m so cheap that I visit the outlet store twice a week so I will not miss out on a good deal.
I’m so cheap that I will never book a cruise out of a US port for more than $60 per person per night.
I’m so cheap that I will not book an international travel tour (that includes flights) for more than $100 per person per night.
I’m so cheap that I never buy fuel for our cars without first checking Gas Buddy to find out which station has the best price.
I’m so cheap that I never buy anything at Walmart that is also available at Aldis.
I’m so cheap that I never book an airline flight without first checking with Hopper.
I’m so cheap that I have never paid more than $75 for a cell phone and most have been free.
I’m so cheap that I have never paid more than $25 per month for unlimited cell & data service (including taxes and fees).
I’m so cheap that I seldom buy anything without first checking availability at both eBay and Amazon.
I’m so cheap that I refill my black printer ink cartridges myself (for about 10 cents each)
I’m so cheap that I always print on both sides of the paper.
I’m so cheap that I turn off one of our central HVAC systems (we have 2) when we take a trip.
I’m so cheap that I resist using Wi-Fi on a cruise ship and tend to use less expensive and faster Wi-Fi in the ports.
I’m so cheap that I keep a large inventory of Restaurant.com coupons and only buy them when the $25 coupons are $4 or less.
I’m so cheap I refuse to drive over 67 MPH regardless of the Speed limit.
I’m so cheap that I shop for my car and home insurance every 3 years.
I’m so cheap that I piggyback for free on my brother’s YouTube TV streaming account.
And the list goes on, you get the idea.
