3 a) Spending on Health Education, is it working?
Your government spends an enormous amount of money on Health Education each year. It seems that the accepted opinion is that the best way to improve individual health is to insure that the public is a well informed on the importance of a proper diet and exercise to longevity and quality of life. However, the facts do not support this assumption. Despite spending increasing Billions of dollars each year (yes with a $B) the population is not becoming healthier. One good indicator is the rate of obesity:
