Kecksburg Revisited
This item is one that my subconscious will not let go of. The official story is that what landed was a meteor and that the military was not involved in a clean-up operation. The last part of that statement may be true as the team that provided the clean-up was not “officially” part of any military organization, but rather a special unit with a single purpose.
The meteor story is ludicrous. The Object was tracked by several radar installations starting in Canada and through Northern sections of the U.S. The speed was far less than that of a meteor and made at least one course correction. A meteor the size of the recovered object would have resulted in an enormous crater. The was none. While speculation about it being the Nazi Bell is unfounded, the idea that it was a USSR space capsule is almost as unlikely.
Were all of the witnesses lying or delusional? If this was an ET craft it must have very advanced technology so why did it crash? I have no answers but what really bothers me is what happened to a local journalist, John Murphy. Not everybody believed [a Russian satellite crashed in Pennsylvania]. In fact, John Murphy began making a documentary called “Object in the woods”, where he took interviews from various people, gathered any evidence that he could find, and tried to solve the mystery of things locals described as an acorn-shaped object or craft of some sort. At least that was until he was visited by two men in black suits who went into a back room with him and met for about 30 mins. And he still did come out with his documentary, but it removed everything else that he had been working on. And according to his wife he was pretty upset about it. His wife said that he became despondent, and refused to ever talk about what went down in that conversation or what he saw that December 5th. In 1969 he was killed in an apparent hit-and-run while on vacation in California. After his death, his wife stated that he had been warned that there would be grave consequences If he ever produced evidence of the stuff he had seen that night, including a photograph of the object. Oddly enough, in the project blue book case file on the Kecksburg incident, a photograph is mentioned but it’s not part of the official reports.
