Just for fun: Area 51

Area 51 has always been a rather mysterious place and I do believe that the primary reason for its existence is for weapon systems R & D. In that regard I absolutely support secrecy. However, I do take issue with at least one fact. For the vast majority of time that this facility has been in operation it did not officially exist prior to August 2103! It does not serve “security” well to pretend that something does not exist. Denials, when it is obvious, only hurt the plan to provide security and secrecy. What better way to stir up the conspiracy theorist community!

Area 51 really went under the microscope with the revelations (true or not) provided by Bob Lazar. Bob’s contention is that there are some super-secret activities happening on the Area 51 reserve at site S-4, approximately 15 miles South of the main complex. If Bob was merely a needy attention seeker then he really screwed up. The powers that be initiated a focused campaign to discredit his report as well as his integrity.
